Cancellation

Most Osumi Canyon bookings take no deposit, so most cancellations do not involve a refund at all. Where money has changed hands, here is exactly how it works.

If you cancel

Tell us as early as you can by WhatsApp or email. Standard group trips with no deposit paid have nothing to refund. If you paid a deposit for a private group or custom itinerary, cancelling more than 72 hours before your date returns it in full; inside 72 hours we keep it, since we've already turned away other bookings for that slot.

If we cancel

Rafting only runs on a working river: strong enough for the rapids in spring, not so high that it becomes dangerous after heavy rain. Tubing needs a low, stable summer level. If we call off your trip for these reasons, or for a genuine safety concern like flash flood risk, you get a full refund of anything paid, or we rebook you on the canyon and waterfall combo, which does not depend on water levels.

Weather calls close to the date

Spring rafting can be affected by heavy rain upstream even on days that look fine in Berat. We make the call the morning of your trip if conditions are borderline, and we will not send a raft out if the river is unsafe, whatever the booking says.
